OUR CRAFT
Not the Kyoto you know,

We serve, as far as possible, only teas and drinks born in Kyoto or deeply tied to it. We choose by the character of this land and the maker’s intent rather than the fame of a label, and the menu shifts with Kyoto’s four seasons.
Not just a drink,

Rather than simply lining up bottles and tea leaves, our tea sommelier tells each party of guests why this cup was chosen ― and what Kyoto story lies behind it.
Tea by Day
Uji teas chosen by our tea sommelier, brewed one cup at a time at the temperature and steeping each leaf deserves. An afternoon cup that gently draws you into a depth of Kyoto you have yet to know.
Sake by Night
By night: Kyoto craft gin, sake, wine, and craft beer. Only labels that make you think, “So Kyoto has makers like this.”
At the close of the day, one more Kyoto.
Non-Alcoholic
For those who prefer not to drink, the tastes of Kyoto still await. House-made mocktails built on Uji tea and roasted hojicha, joined by seasonal fruit and Japanese botanicals, mixed to meet the mood of your day. Kyoto’s four seasons, one glass at a time.
Light Bites
For when you feel a little hungry, Kyoto is here too. By day, Kyoto sweets that pair with tea; by night, small dishes that sit well beside sake. Small encounters with Kyoto, each bite carrying its maker’s care.
